With the end in view of making government programs and services more accessible to Bataeños, Governor Joet Garcia visited the municipality of Mariveles, November 28, as part of the preparation for the Bisita Bayan Kada Buwan in 2023.
Gov. Joet joined the flag raising ceremony, where he had the opportunity to emphasize the importance of cooperation between the town officials and the residents. He even brought with him an early Christmas gift— an additional Php 6 million support for the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
After the ceremony, a breakout session was held at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall where Gov. Joet, Mayor AJ Concepcion, Vice Mayor Angelito Rubia, together with the councilors, assessed the development projects and programs that they are committed to provide for the people of Mariveles.
The heads of the various departments of Mariveles LGU discussed with the PGB department heads the challenges they face in carrying out their respective mandates and in the process, look for avenues where they could help each other.
In his dialog with the Civil Society Organization representatives, Gov. Joet encouraged the people to get involved in government programs, foremost of which are health promotion, CBMS, and EduChild Parenting Program.
